Age Limit
: Between 18-28 years as on 01.08.2011. Relaxation of age for reserved category are made as per Govt. guidelines.
Pay scale: The pay scale for Indian Overseas Bank clerk recruitment 2012 will be of Rs. 7200-19300 plus DA, HRA etc as per bank's norm.

Eligibility: To apply for Indian Overseas Bank clerk recruitment 2012 candidates should have any one of the following educational qualifications-

  • Candidates should have passed HSC or equivalent with 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) from a recognized institution/board.
  • Should have passed Diploma in Banking with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) from a recognized institution. 
  • Should have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50 % marks (45% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM).
IBPS cut-off marksCandidates should have to obtain minimum 24 marks (21 for reserved category)in individual subject. The total weighted standard score (TWS) for Indian Overseas Bank clerk  recruitment 2012 is minimum 120 for General and 104 for SC/ST/OBC/PC/EXSM candidates.
