Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Study Material for RBI Assistant recruitment exam

Reserve Bank of India has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant. The online application process will be available between 30.05.2013 to 20.06.2013. The exam will be through online as scheduled on 20.07.2013, 21.07.2013, 27.07.2013 & 28.07.2013 in various center across the country. There are around 525 vacancies (SC 94, ST 40, OBC 79, Gen 312) available. Vacancies are distributed in different offices of RBI.

Syllabus & Pattern of Exam for RBI Assistant post

Selection will be made through online examination and personal interview. The online exam will be of 200 marks. The detailed syllabus is given below-
  1. Reasoning - 40 marks for 40 questions
  2. English Language - 40 marks for 40 questions
  3. Numerical Ability - 40 marks for 40 questions
  4. General Awareness - 40 marks for 40 questions
  5. Computer Knowledge - 40 marks for 40 questions

Total 200 questions of 200 marks. Time available 120 minutes or 2 hours. The questions except English language are available in both English and Hindi version. Candidates are required to qualify in each section separately i.e. sectional cutoff marks are present.

Negative marks : 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answers. That means if you have done 4 wrong answers, marks for one right answer will be deducted.

The admit card for online test will be available on RBI's official website www.rbi.org.in.
