The Staff Selection Combined Graduate Level Exam 2013 ( SSC CGL) had been scheduled on 14th and 21st April previously. But due to the birthday aniversary of B.R. Ambedkar, the 14th exam was changed to 28th April and later again rescheduled to 19.05.2013. The SSC CGL Tier-I written exam on 21.04.2013 had already been conducted in both morning and afternoon session. The 2nd phase of SSC CGL tier-I exam will be held on 19th May, 2013 as prescheduled. We have started a discussion on SSC CGL 2013 exam here.
Many of our regular readers said that this time the questions asked in SSC CGL-2013 exam were too tougher than that of previous year. Mainly the general awareness part was realy tough. The numerical ability part was too lengthy and time consuming. The reasoning/G.I. and the english section were average. Most of the candidates told us that the average questions they attempted are 120-125 out of 200 questions. So, it is expected that the cutoff marks for SSC CGL (Tier-I) 2013 will be between 80-90.
So, what's your attemtps and your expected score in SSC CGL-13 exam? Share with other aspirants.

DeletePREM n AMIT chutiyaa hoo kya? Itna cutoff kabhi bhi nahi jaa sakta hai.
DeleteTumharey marks issey zjayda aa rehey toh cutoff 95+

Deletesir iam geting 82 obc is therchanc eof passing
DeleteI will get 80+ is there any chance into tier 2 for UR candidate tell me section wise cut off
ReplyDeletei think this time the cut off may be between 70-80 for ur and even less for others,as the paper is tough and lengthy and i think there will be no section cut off, it'll be only total cut off,.......hope for the best and prepare for the rest
DeleteSir i will get 80+ may be.Is there any chance to qualify for tier 2 for UR candidate.I think paper is tough and time consumes.May be expected cut off is reduced to 75 for UR whether is it true .Tell me section wise cut off also.Expected people to write exam also decreases because on the same day SBI PO exam also there.
ReplyDeleteAbove 90 marks are safe to get into Tier-II exam. You are on the rope and you may qualify. The SSC CGL exam on 28.04.2013 has been postponed to 19.05.2013. For further information check SSC official website http://ssc.nic.in/

DeleteTell me Section wise cut off like english,Aptitude etc for UR candidates and over all cut off
ReplyDeletethere is no section-wise cut off in ssc cgl..
DeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteaccording to me the cut off will be 87 to 92 for general because the math section was lengthy and gk was tough, reasoning and english was moderate.
ReplyDeleteif u will from 2009 then u will find that the cut of is less year by year than previous year for xample in 2009 cut of was-115
Deletein 2010 cut off-100,in2011 cut off-96 ,in 2012 cut off-82 and in 2013 cut off-----?????? less than 82 means 75-80 for gen candidate coz vacancies are too much and paper was tough than previous years ....and the student will appear on 19 may so less coz on 19 may there is also a paper of india post
see the cut off year by year
Delete2009-115
2010-100
2011-96
2012-82 so year by year cut off is degrades and in2013 paper was tougher in comparison to previous year and vacancies r so much in comparison to previous years so the cut off will be 75-80 for general
In 2011 the cutoff was 87 and not 96. Check your figures.

ReplyDeleteAs per one institute answer keys, I am expecting 110+ as total score. (Need to verify the score with official keys though). But my worry is that my sectional score in General Awareness is pathetic ( 8.75)? Is there any sectional cutoff in this exam or total cutoff will be the deciding factor?
ReplyDeletenahi bhai isme tension ki koi bat nahi hai tu chache kisi subject me 1 la ya 50 la bus overall pass hona chahiye
DeleteWill there be a re-exam as SSC Tier1 paper was leaked for 21/4/2013

ReplyDeleteI want to ask two question.First, what are the posts for which one has to appear in Paper 3 i.e.Statistics. This is my first attempt so didn't have much idea on the same. So, any dire consequences on not appearing for PAPER 3 or I don't clear the cut off of Stats. Second, I didnot study anything for tier 1. I need to start now. Suggest books please. Any more suggestions . Most welcome.
P.S I don't even have a degree in stats.
