Age Limit (as on 01.12.2011): The age limit for different posts are as follows-
- For Assistant General Manager IT - 21-43 years
- For Credit officers - 21-40 years
- For all other posts - 21-35 years
Eligibility details: The eligibility details for different posts are given below-
- Asst. General Manager IT- Should be completed graduation from a recognized university with 50% marks and must have CISA/CISM/CISSP certificates. Also require 10 years work experience.
- Credit Officers MMGS III- Should be a graduate having 60% marks in final year and must have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation. lso require 5 years work experience.
- Security Officer - Should be completed graduation with 50& marks in final year and must have a certificate in Compute Awareness and Office Automation. Minimum 5years work experience is required as on officer in Indian Army (as a captain or above rank).
- Architect - Should have a B.Arch degree with min 60% marks in final year and must have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation. Also 5 years work experience in respective field is required.
- Electrical Engineer - Should have a B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks and must have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation. Also 5 years work experience in respective field is required.
- Civil Engineer - Should have a B.E/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with 60% marks and must have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation. Also 5 years work experience in respective field is required.
- Asst. Manager Technical - Should have a degree in Engineeringin Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical/ Production/ Metallurgy/ Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunication / Computer Science/ Information Technology/ textile/ Chemical and must have a valid IBPS CWE score card for Specialist officer 2012. Candidates must have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation.
- Rural Development Officer - Candidates must have a degree in Agricultre or allied specialization in Horticulture Animal Husbandry / Vertinary Science/ Dairy Science / Agri Engineering/ Fishery Science / Pisciculture / Agri Marketing and Cooperation etc from a recognized university. Must have a valid IBPS score card and have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation.
- Personnel Officer - Should have completed graduation and post graduation or Diploma in Personnel Management / IR / HRD/Social Work / Labour Law. Must have a valid IBPS score card and have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation.
- Rajbhasha Adhikari - Must have completed PG in Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level or PG in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects at Degree level. Must have a valid IBPS score card and have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation.
- Fire Officer - Must have completed Divisional Officers Course in the National Fire Service College Nagpur or BE (Fire) from NFS College Nagpur or other Institute duly approved by Indian Council for Technical Education having 50% marks in final year.
- Law Officer - Must have a completed B.A. degree in LAW (L.L.B). Candidates must have a valid IBPS score card and have a certificate of Compute Awareness and Office Automation.
Selection process: Union Bank of India recruitment 2012 for Specialist Officer (SO)
The selection procedure for for Assistant General Manager IT will be based on psychometric test / Group Discussion / Personal Interview. The selection process for Credit Officers, Security Officer, Architect, Electrical Engineer, Civil Engineer and Fire Officer will be made on the basis of written exam and psychometric test / Group Discussion / Personal Interview. For the post of Asst. Manager Technical, Rural Development Officer, Personnel Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari and Law Officer will be based on overall performance in IBPS CWE and psychometric test / Group Discussion / Personal Interview.
