Query regarding Reserved List in IBPS Clerk-III and PO-III

reserved list in ibpsIBPS has just declared the final result of PO CWE-III and Clerk-III. This year IBPS has released a 'Reserved List' along with combined result and allotment list. Many of our readers have asked us about the reserved list. As it is a new type of list (a new name!) in this year, candidates don't know clearly about reserved list. We have already updated on 'reserved list' in one of our post. We are going to clear your doubts regarding reserved list in IBPS PO CWE-III and Clerk CWE-III allotment.

Q1: What do you mean by Reserved List?

It is same as a waitlist which is normally made after declaration of result in each year. Whenever candidates from final allotted list would not join in bank as PO/ clerk, candidates from reserved list will get the opportunity to get that job. In other word, candidates from reserved list may be considered for further allotment.

Q2: What is total number of candidates are in reserved list?

Around 10 percent of vacancies under each category and state.

Q3: If a candidate is in reserved list, will he surely get allotment in near future?

No, it is not. IBPS has clearly mentioned that if you are in reserved list, it does not mean that you will definitely get allotment. But chances are there.

Q5: If a candidate is neither in final merit list nor in reserved list, then what will happen?

In this case, candidates will not considered for further allotment. Candidates only from reserved list can expect further allotment. So, such candidates are advised to be prepared for next year's IBPS PO-IV or Clerk-IV exams.

Q6: Will IBPS publish further reserved list or waiting list for Clerk-III/ PO-III?

Well, as per IBPS official notification, they would not release any further waiting-list. They will recruit candidates from reserved list.

So friends, we hope it will help you to clear your doubt regarding reserved list published by IBPS for Clerk-III and PO-III combined result. If you have still any doubt, feel free to ask us here as comments below. We will try our best to help you.

    1. According to IBPS, there is no chance for those candidates who are not in reserve list. So, at this time, we will say that you have no chance. But in near future IBPS may publish one or more waitlist. We are just guessing. So, hope for the best!

  23. This time the process of recruitment is totally unfair .IBPS has always followed a fair process so why change this time. Moreover interview marks are not shown individually and how they are calculated. What about those students who are left out with just 0.1 they also deserve an equal opportunity and a bank job.So no recruitment beyond the reserve list is totally not fair .

  30. hi sir i am frm tamil nadu my score in ibps cwe clerk 3 is 51 gen

my state reserve list is 52.8

ibps has released sucessfully alloted candidates list on may 1st in seeing that i was really shocked.

inspite of 1629 vacanies in unreserved category ibps has alloted only 1140 still 489 vacanies remaining not alloted

it is nearly 30 percent of vacanies therefore how come the reserve list is given for only 10 percent which is nearly 170 vacanies

then wat about the remaining 319 vacanies will ibps allot the candiates beyond reserve list for sure kindly reply on this issue sir
