Indian Bank invites online application for the post of Specialist Officer (SO) from Indian citizens who have qualified the IBPS common written examination conducted on 11.03.2012 and must hold a valid IBPS score card.

Eligibility: The eligibility details for different posts in Indian Bank specialist officer recruitment 2012 are given below-

  • Legal Officer:- Bachelor degree in Law with 3 years experience of practice.
  • IT Officer:- Degree or PG in computer sciense/IT/computer application/electronics/electronics & communication/electronics & instrumentation/electronics & telecommunication from a recognized university.
  •  Rural Management Officer/Asst. Manager(agri):- Degree in agriculture/dairy science/animal husbandry/horticulture/Agri. engineering/pisciculture/veterinary science/fishery science from a recognized university.
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari/Hindi Officer/Asst. Manager(OL):-PG in hindi with english as a subject in graduation or PG in sanskrit with english and hindi as subjects in graduation.

Application fees: Rs. 20 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs. 100 for all other category including OBC.

Application process: First download the payment challan from Bank's website and submit the duly filled challan with application fees in any branch of Indian Bank. Then go to the bank's website again and open the online application form for Indian Bank SO recruitment 2012 and fill it. Then click submit button. After successfully registration, take a print out copy of the system generated registration form and keep it along with the payment challan receipt that will be required during the interview.
