IBPS Clerk CWE 2012 question paper held on 16th December 2012 (Morning session)

Looking for question papers of IBPS clerk CWE 2012? We are going to discuss on the IBPS clerk exam question papers held on December 16, 2012. This is the 2nd IBPS common written examination and IBPS decided to conduct an online exam through out the country. The IBPS CWE for clerk has been scheduled on December 15, 16, 22 & 23, 2012. The exams on 15th & 16th December 2012 have already been conducted. We have decided to give a overall clear review on IBPS clerk exam question papers held on 16.12.2012 so that aspirants whose IBPS online exam have been scheduled on 22nd & 23rd December and going to appear for. Questions asked in IBPS clerk CWE 2012 (16th December, Morning Session)

General Awareness questions of IBPS clerk exam 2012:

The general awareness or GK part came up with lots of banking related questions as this part has been named as 'General Awareness (With special reference to banking industry'. We have given below a short description on GA part which have been asked in the question papers-
  • Governor of Reserve Bank of India
  • Questions from Schemes, policies, security, policies of RBI
  • Function of SEBI
  • Repo rate
  • Cash Reserve Ratio
  • Minister of railways, broadcast & information
  • President of Afghanistan 
  • Padma Bhusan award given in 2012 etc.


Computer Knowledge questions of IBPS clerk CWE 2012 :

Computer awareness questions were as usual. This part comes up with the following questions/portions-
  • Questions on CPU's function
  • Computer languages ( asked 7-8 questions)
  • Software (Utility software etc)
  • Full form of HTML
  • Question on short cut keys (Ex-ctrl X etc) etc

General Intelligence/Reasoning questions of IBPS CWE-II for clerk :

This part contains usual question as appeared in the previous year IBPS/Bank exams. 
  • Some lengthy question on like persons sitting in a circle/line etc. 20 number of such questions have been asked.
  • Statement & conclusion (10 questions)
  • Puzzles (5 marks) etc

Numerical Ability questions of IBPS clerk CWE-II : 

The questions of this part came from the following portions-

  • Profit & loss
  • Simple Interest
  • Time & work
  • Mensuration 
  • Simplification
  • Series etc.

English language questions of IBPS clerk CWE 2012 :

This portion was same as the previous year question. The questions were from the following part-
  • Passage
  • Fill in the blanks
  • Error Correction
  • Sentence improvement  etc.




The overall questions were good to be obtained good score. The expected cutoff marks for IBPS clerk cwe 2012 would be of around 150-160 marks which is very good score to be selected finally (obviously would get a job).
