Notification for preference of banks after IBPS PO/MT common interview

Appeared for IBPS PO/MT common interview? IBPS has released a notification regarding preference of participating Public Sector Banks (PSB) through IBPS CWE-II for PO/MT held on 17th June 2012. This is first time in IBPS history to conduct a common interview for all candidates who have qualified the IBPS PO/MT CWE 2012.


The IBPS PO/MT common interview result will be announced in next week. Candidates who successfully qualified in both IBPS CWE and common interview, are required to visit the IBPS website and register for their order of preference for all public sector banks.

Allotment details of a candidates will be sent to the mailing address as given by the candidates at the time of IBPS PO online registration.


Important Points : 

  • Candidates will be allotted based on the overall performances in both IBPS CWE and common interview.
  • According to vacancies through IBPS PO/MT CWE-II, a successful candidate will be allotted only one of participating bank as per merit cum preference.
  • If vacancies remaining unfilled, those will be filled from among the remaining candidates. A waitlist will be made from among the remaining successful candidates. This waitlist will be valid up to 31.03.2014.
  • The allotment will not be changed in future.
  • After receiving an offer from a participating organization, candidates are required to provide all relevant & necessary documents for checking the eligibility and identity.

- Result of IBPS PO/MT common interview :  Second week of February 2013
- Registration for order of preference for participating banks : 20.02.2013-28.02.2013
- Allotment in banks : March 2013

    i am nagesh from ST cat. i got 132 marks in IBPS PO-II And i gave my interview in hyderabad very well .can i EXPECT in the merit list i answered all the question which they asked to me with right answers without fail ,

    And i want to know how many no of candidates cleared the IBPS PO-II

    f ur marks are 150 then
    150/250*80=ur written marks
    now from ur final score substract above marks & u'll get ur interview marks

    i Have got combined score in ibps CWE and interview 63.6 in gen category 40% was the minimum qualifying marks and i got 63.6 , now what will i have to do and is my job sure now?

      You have secured good marks and have bright chance. Now you have to register for the preference of banks. Just read the above post carefully.

    Hi i have got 57.72 in combined score and i'm OBC Physcically handicaped category.Is there any chance to get in any of the banks

    IBPS should release the list of all successful candidates along with the final score of each candidate to end confusion and to enable them to explore the possibility of being selected.
