Vacancy: Total vacancy 1434. The vacancies in individual general insurance company are given below-
- National Insurance Company Limited - 423
- The New India Assurance Company Limited- 494
- Oriental Insurance Company Limited- 223
- United India Insurance Company Limited- 294
Age Limit: Between 21-30 years as on 31.07.2013.
Educational Qualification: Must have a bachelor degree in respective field. Experience in respective field in desirable. Refer to official notification.
Syllabus, Pattern of Exam, Selection Procedure for NICL AO job vacancies
There will be a written test which contain both objective and descriptive papers. The detailed syllabus and exam pattern are as follows-
For Generalist posts:
- Test of Reasoning- 25 marks
- Test of English Language- 25 marks
- Test of General Awareness- 25 marks
- Test of Numerical Ability & Computer Literacy: 25 marks
- Test in English language comprising of : Essay, Précis & Comprehension (Descriptive)- 50 marks
Total time duration- 180 minutes.
For Specialist posts:
- Test of Reasoning- 20 marks
- Test of English Language- 20 marks
- Test of General Awareness- 20 marks
- Test of Numerical Ability & Computer Literacy: 20 marks
- Professional Knowledge- 20 marks
- Test in English language comprising of : Essay, Précis & Comprehension (Descriptive)- 50 marks
Total time given- 180 minutes.
Selection for NICL Administrative Officer post will be based on the performance in written test followed by interview.

Application Fees: Rs. 150 for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs. 450 for all other candidates. Rs. 200 will be needed for bank service charge.
