Vacancy, Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL exam 2013
Vacancy: The vacancies for SSC LDC & DEO through CHSL 2013 recruitment will be determined in due course.
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years as on 01.08.2013. Relaxation for upper age limit has been made for reserved categories.
Educational Qualification: To apply for SSC CHSL 2013 exam, candidates should have passed higher secondary level or 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized institution.

Pay Scale: The pay scale is Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay Rs. 2400 for DEO and Rs, 1900 for LDC posts.
Syllabus, Pattern of Exam, Selection Procedure for SSC Combined HS Level Exam
Syllabus, Scheme of Examination:
The written test will consist of one objective type question paper of 200 marks. The detailed exam pattern is given below-
- General Intelligence- 50 questions (50 marks)
- English Language- 50 questions (50 marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude- 50 questions (50 marks)
- General Awareness- 50 questions (50 marks)
Total time duration- 2 hours
All the questions will be objective type multiple choice questions. There will be negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer. After the written test result, successful candidates will be called for skill test for DEO and typing test for LDC.
Mode of Selection: After qualifying in skill test, successful candidates will get appointment in various posts, departments. The merit list for SSC CHSL DEO and LDC posts will be made on the basis of the performance in written exam.
How to apply for SSC CHSL Recruitment Exam 2013
Application Fees: Rs. 100 for UR/OBC candidates. Candidates belong to SC/ST/PWD/EXSM/Female need to submit any fee.
