Age Limit: Between 20 to 25 years as on 1st August, 2013.
Academic Qualification: Candidates must be a graduate from a recognize University.

UPSC CAPF (Asst. Commandant) recruitment Selection Process, Syllabus, Pattern of Exam
Selection Procedure: Selection for UPSC CAPF (AC) recruitment will be made on the basis of the performance by the candidates in written test followed by physical efficiency test (PET) and interview.
UPSC CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Exam syllabus, pattern of exam:
- Written Exam: There will be two papers- Paper I and Paper II.
1. Paper I- General Ability and Intelligence (250 marks), Time duration- 2 hours
2. Paper II- General Study, Essay and Comprehension (200 marks), Time duration- 3 hours
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates qualified in written exam will have to be appeared for physical efficiency test and medical standard test.
- Interview/Personality Test: After clearing the PET and medical test, candidates will be able to appear for the interview of 150 marks conducted by UPSC.

Application Fees: Rs. 200 for Gen/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates need not to pay any fee.
