RBI Grade-B Officer exam review held on 17.08.2013

According to most of the candidates, the overall paper of RBI Grade-B officer exam was not too tough, but it has shown its level! First go with reasoning section. This part was lengthy and too much time consuming. Most of question comes from puzzle type. No need to say how much time does it take to solve such questions. So, concentrate on such puzzle questions and increase your solving-speed. The general awareness part was same as bank PO level exams. Most of GK questions asked from banking awareness, current affairs, 2013-14 budget, different rates by RBI, finance commission etc. Quantitative part was easy. Around 20-25 question were asked from data interpretation section. Candidates should target this section to obtain high scores. The English section was also one of the easiest part of the paper.


So, it has been noticed that the overall paper of today's RBI Grade-B officer exam was not too tough but rather say it is easy as compared to IBPS/SBI PO exam. The cutoff marks is likely to be high this year. So friends try to give your best for upcoming exams. Have a good luck!

Puzzle type means seating arrangement problems which are mostly asked in Bank PO exams.For general studies part, try to cover all current affairs of last two years (max), banking awareness mainly functions of RBI, different rates like repo, crr, slr etc, budget, cencus and also typical general knowledge. Economic subject is very important for RBI Grade-B officer exam's GS section.

    1. Normally computer awareness questions are not asked in GA sections. If so, may be 1-2 questions. GA part mostly consists of typical gk, banking awareness, current affairs. There are lots of questions from economic topic.

    GA was moderate
    maths and English cakewalk.
    i attended exam today afternoon.
    timing 130 mins,in computer exam paragraphs tough to read as like data interpretation question while scrolling left and right
