NICL AO 2013 exam review held on 08.09.2013

National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has conducted the recruitment exam for the post of Administrative Officer (AO) today i.e. on 08.09.2013. The NICL AO recruitment notification was published in July. After around two months, the written test has been conducted. Now it's the time to give the review. Read further to get the complete review on NICL AO recruitment exam 2013 held on 08.09.2013.



Rumours spread that the question paper has been leaked in some centres. Although there are not such strong sources. Anyway come to the main topic. Today's NICL AO question paper was good and hold its level. Unlike the other sections, general awareness part was quite tough. Many questions were from current affairs like venue of G-20 Summit 2012, present telecom minister etc. (We will publish more GK questions soon). The numerical ability section was easy. Questions were from LCM/HCF, number series, simplification, mensuration, cube root etc. Reasoning part was easy but it takes too much times as questions were very lengthy and time consuming. The English section was average. The descriptive in English comprehension questions were from paragraph, precis writing. Also there is one part professional knowledge for Specialist officer posts.

    any chance of re-exam as paper was leaked .. its already in newspaper today at 7 am about that in haryana ,, and after the exam heard about in other states also

    Hi guys I attempted (Specialist field)exam at my place(Hyderabad) and want to share some questions which I remembered.Paper was quite moderate, I will post some questions from every section
    English:
    chose the best alternative for active/passive voice
    1. I said to her "What a Cold day"
    2. the fish without water
    3. I said to him " why are you working so hard"
    and so-on
    Opposite words were also asked like POACH,FRUGAL,SUSCEPTIBLE etc..
    wrongly spelt word : occassion,possession,commission
    and 2 jumbled paragraphs were given which was to arrange in order.
    Reasoning:
    1. 3,4,7,11,18,27,?
    2. one direction question was asked like" A man walks 8km north and turns left and walks 20kms...
    3. a table was given about no. of accidents per month and asked to find the given month based on average calculation.
    4. one meaningful word needed to identify which was given as IPPOTAUMSHP, and other options...
    5.There were 2 questions in Jumbled sequence like ACGH:PRQS::BCDE: ?
    6. one age related question like : arjun's mother age is twice more than arjuns age 5 yrs ago. after 5 yrs arjun's mother age is thrice more than arjun's age . what is his mothers age.
    7. A train travelling 20km/hr and crosses a girl in 10 sec...
    Numerical Ability :
    1. divide 4320 to make perfect cube.
    2. 5 power70 +5 power71+5power72=
    3. 5power2.5/5power(?)=5
    4. 432799*999=
    6. 30% (X-Y) AND 20%(X+Y) then % of X AND Y ARE?
    7. average weather in agra gwalior delhi is 38 c and average weather in lucknow agra chandigarh is 37 c. if delhi temp is 39 c what is temp of lucknow to that of delhi.

    for ur info mr. Blogger....it was leaked...in hisar haryana...a student sitting on my front...was using cheat 4 descriptive...even d teacher was co-operating wid cheaters...bhut galiyan suna kar aya hu us teachr ko b....

    I gave my exam in Chandigarh, some questions were like,
    1. Where did International Physics olympiad held.
    2. Which bank took over centurion bank of punjab.
    3 Which country's literacy rate is highest among following? Sri lanks, India, China Vietnam.
    4.Where did UN Biodiversity Meet held in Oct 2012.?
    5.Which Country's GDP growth was highest in 2011.?(Imagine, what the standard was when questions were coming from the year 2011-12)
    6.What is the synonym for Intrepid, Exhort and antonym for Procastrinate?(These 3 were questions from English)
    7.Couting no. of rectangles from the figure in reasoning.

    Overall Exam was substandard, it was finished with in 2 hrs, god knows why 3 hrs were given, and yes it was leaked in Delhi, rohtak hissar :(

    Friends dont worry about PAPER LEAK because the papers which were selling in the market was fake. My friend was having the paper which he purchased but it was fake ,it was not the same which came in the exam .There were simililar rumours in haryana and delhi too. , anyways we should ignore these things and the cutoff would be around 110 out of 150 because paper was too easy.....

    i have also photo copy of the generalist paper for my friend and it was 100% copy of original question paper...he solved 99 out of 100...so just wait for result....

    DUPLICATE QUESTION PAPER LEAK
    Are bhai jo log foolish hai wo log aisi rumours faila rahe hai ki question leak tha , are itna time study me lagaoge to pass ho jaoge . Question bahut hi easy tha , koi bewakuf bhi solve kar sakta hai 3 hrs me 100 question . Aur jo log aisi roumors faila rahe hai unka exam karab gaya hai , aur unka kabhi acha ja bhi nahi sakta kyonki wo foolish hai . Nakli question mil raha tha market me . kuch fruad log fruad students ko chuna laga gaye aur kuch nahi .Mai khudh Patna me yeh fruad dekh chuka hu waha isi tereh se students ke sath fruad hota hai.

    At our exam centre invigilator made a mistake by distributing the answer sheets in wrong sequence, by the time we came to know about the same we had filled our answer sheets with roll no. & all. Later on the same answer sheets redistributed among us in right order & the filled roll numbers were erased using whitener. I am worried, that our paper will be rejected. Please share your views. Thanks.
