Syllabus, Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk 2014 Recruitment

State Bank of India (SBI) has just released the official notification for Clerk/ Assistant 2014 recruitment. The online application will be started from 26th May and continued till 14th June, 2014. The written exam has been tentatively scheduled in the month of July/ August 2014. Now we are going to share here the complete syllabus, exam pattern of SBI clerk 2014 recruitment exam.


SBI Clerk 2014 Recruitment Syllabus, Pattern of Exam details

This year, SBI is going to conduct online test same as IBPS exam. SBI has already decided to conduct online exam for PO recruitment 2014 which is going to be held in June. So, we will check the exam pattern and syllabus which is as follows.-


Syllabus and Exam Pattern :

There are 200 marks of 200 objective questions in online exam. Total 5 subjects/ sections are there. Each section contains 40 questions.

  1. General Awareness : 40 marks
  2. General English: 40 marks 
  3. Quantitative Aptitude: 40 marks
  4. Reasoning Ability: 40 marks 
  5. Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge: 40 marks

Total time duration- 2 hours 15 minutes i.e. 135 minutes.

Negative Marks: There is negative marks in online exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer given by you.

Interview: After qualifying in online test, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview which will be of 35 marks. In the ratio of 3:1, candidates will be called for interview that means 3 candidates will be called for interview for each vacancy.






Selection Process of SBI Clerk 2014 recruitment: Selection will be made based on the performance in both online exam and interview i.e. merit list will be made on the basis of total 235 (200+35) marks.
