Review on IBPS Clerk-IV exam held on 06.12.2014: Analysis



The first day of IBPS Clerk CWE-IV 2014 online exam has just been held today i.e. on 6th December, 2014 in all over India in both morning and evening sessions. Now it's the time to write review and analysis on IBPS Clerk CWE-IV online test held on 06.12.2014.

We are going to discuss section-wise and how many questions from which portion are asked in the exam.

Reasoning/ General Intelligence : The reasoning section was easy but some of them are lengthy, time consuming. Questions were asked from the following sections-

  • Seating Arrangement - 10 (marks or questions)
  • Data Sufficiency - 5
  • Inequalities - 5
  • Puzzle - 5
  • Series - 10
  • Coding/ Decoding - 5

Numerical Ability : This section was also easy but calculative. It is not a easy task to solve all the questions in stipulated time. Questions were from the sections given below-
  • Simplification - 10
  • Number series - 5
  • Data Interpretation (Pie chart, graph chart) - 5
  • Mensuration - 2
  • Simple Interest/ Compound Interest - 2
  • Time & Work - 2
  • Age, Boat & Stream, Partnership, Pipe & Cistern, Average etc. - 14


English : This part was moderate. Questions were come from the following portions-
  • Passage - 10
  • Rearrangement - 5
  • Error correction - 5
  • Cloze test - 10
  • Fill in the blanks - 5
  • Phrases - 5

General Awareness : GK section was moderate. Most questions were come from banking awareness and current affairs. We will publish soon here today's general awareness questions asked in online exam.

Computer Knowledge : This section was very easy. Most of the questions were asked from basic level computer knowledge.
