80000 vacancies in Banks in next two years



Good News! Those who are taking preparation for jobs in government banking sectors, would be very happy to hear such news. Huge number of posts will be vacated in next two years in different nationalized banks including State Bank of India. Around 80000 bank employees are going to retire in next two years (2015-2017). It will result a huge vacancies in different govt. sector banks.


bank jobs newsNews from the sources, more than 78,800 staffs will retire in this years out of which, 39,756 staffs (19,065 Officer and 14,669 Clerk) in this financial year. In next year, around 39,000 employees will retire out of which 18,506 Officer and 14,458 Clerk. According to Finance Ministry, there will be few recruitment on contract basis. Thereafter, notification for permanent recruitment process will be issued.


Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jately told in a press conference that few nationalized banks are thinking about recruiting employees in their organizations through campusing from some reputed institutions of the country. But the process has not been implemented yet due to some legal complexity.

Huge Jobs in Nationalized Banks in next 5 years



bank job newsWaiting for latest bank recruitment news? Good News for all aspirants who dream to get a job in banks! All the nationalized banks of India will recruit a huge number of candidates in next five years i.e. within 2020. Minister of State for Finance, Govt. of India, Mr. Jayanta Sinha said in an interview that in an average, 25 percent of total number of present bank employees (both clerk and officer) are going to retire before 2020. As a result there will be a massive number of vacancies will be created and these vacant posts have to be filled.
 
How many number of employees retire in each year and the number of vacancies are estimated by the respective nationalized banks. To get the permission regarding the filling up the vacant posts, the banks are liable to inform the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Board (IBPS) who conducts common written examination (CWE)/ online test each year for the recruitment of Officers and Clerks.

Mr. Sinha has also told that the Central Government has already sent the details regarding the human resource related information including the number of employees who are going to get retirement within the year 2020.

SBI may slow recruiting PO/Clerk/SO in next 2-3 years

A very bad news to all bank aspirants! State Bank of India, the largest public sector bank in India, may slow down recruitment of staffs in its organization in upcoming 2-3 years. Managing Director of SBI, Mr. A. Krishna Kumar said that SBI will try to maintain the strength of employees. Although a big number of employees retire every year from different levels (clerk, PO, SO etc.) and to fill these vacant posts, they recruit staffs in each year.




sbi recruitment newsAt present, there are around 2.23 lakh employees currently working in SBI. They don't want to change this current figure. The employees strength may fall to 2.2 lakh by March, 2014. So they will try to keep this constant figure between 2.2 to 2.23 lakh over next few years. They don't want to increase staff so much now as its productivity and expenses will become an issue. As per SBI officials, the head count reduced by 5000 between March and December 2013. Now they have decided to slow down the recruitment process in between 2014-2016.


It's really a very very sad news to all aspirants who are waiting for upcoming SBI clerk/PO vacancies. Although this does not mean that there will be no vacancies in upcoming years in SBI, it means the number of recruitment vacancies may be decreased compared to previous years. SBI announced in 2008 that they will recruit 60000 staffs in the years 2008-2011 and almost the same vacant were filled. The last SBI clerk recruitment vacancies were published in 2012 for around 11000 posts and 1500 PO vacancies were in January, 2013, the recruitment process was completed. Now aspirants will have to wait for further notification.

Banks to recruit 55000 PO & Clerk in 2014: Recruitment News

17 Lakh candidates applied for SBI PO recruitment 2013

PSU Banks will recruit 56,500 PO & Clerk in next 6 months

Good news for all aspirants who wishes for a bank's job in this year! All Public Sector Banks (PSBs) of India including State Bank of India will recruit a total of 56,500 candidates for the post of Probationary Officer & Clerk in the next six months. This will be the highest ever recruitment drive by the PSBs in more than a decade. More than a dozen of banks' recruitment will be 30% higher than the previous year since their business cycle is growing.

According to the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), around 22,415 PO and 32,453 clerks will be hired by the public sector banks excluding SBI due to expansion of branches and the vacancies created by retirement & attrition of the employees. SBI is independently recruiting 1500 Probationary Officers this year.
