SSC CGL Tier-I exam 2013 review held on 19.05.2013

Looking for SSC CGL 2013 Tier-I review? Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam was conducted on 21.04.2013 and 19.05.2013. We have already given the review on SSC CGL Tier-I exam of 21.04.2013 on our website. Now time to post the review on SSC CGL (Tier-I) exam 2013 held on 19.05.2013 i.e. yesterday. According to the SSC CGL aspirants, the question paper of 19.05.2013 was easier as compared to previous year's SSC CGL exam. But the general awareness (GK) part was really too tough and consists of confusing questions. The reasoning and numerical ability (math) section were easy but lengthy and time consuming. In numerical ability part, questions specially from geometry were too lengthy. It is not a easy task for one to solve all questions in time. The english section was as usual. According to us the expected cutoff marks in SSC CGL Tier-I exam will be 85-90 marks.

SSC CGL Tier-II 2013 exam dates have been changed

Want to know new dates of SSC CGL Tier-II exam 2013? Staff Selection Commission has changed the exam dates for Combined Graduate Level Tier-II exam 2013. The Tier-II exam was previously scheduled on 20.07.2013 and 21.07.2013. But the now the Tier-II exam has been re-scheduled as the SSC CGL Tier-I exam of 14.04.2013 was postponed to 28.04.2013 and further postponed to 19.05.2013. The SSC CGL Tier-I exam on 21.04.2013 was held without any problem.




The new dates of SSC CGL Tier-II exam 2013 is given below-

  • Exam date of  Paper I & II - 01.09.2013
  • Exam date of Paper III - 30.08.2013

Review on SSC CGL (Tier-I) 2013 Exam held on 21.04.2013

The Staff Selection Combined Graduate Level Exam 2013 ( SSC CGL) had been scheduled on 14th and 21st April previously. But due to the birthday aniversary of B.R. Ambedkar, the 14th exam was changed to 28th April and later again rescheduled to 19.05.2013. The SSC CGL Tier-I written exam on 21.04.2013 had already been conducted in both morning and afternoon session. The 2nd phase of SSC CGL tier-I exam will be held on 19th May, 2013 as prescheduled. Many of our regular readers said that this time the questions asked in SSC CGL-2013 exam were too tougher than that of previous year. Mainly the general awareness part was realy tough. The numerical ability part was too lengthy and time consuming. The reasoning/G.I. and the english section were average. Most of the candidates told us that the average questions they attempted are 120-125 out of 200 questions. So, it is expected that the cutoff marks for SSC CGL (Tier-I) 2013 will be between 80-90.
