Disclaimer : Even though it went off well , not expecting a call after ibps experience.

My Interview on 11th July. SBI Strand Road Branch. Panel 1. 8 am.

It went off really well.
First the documents verification , then the Group Discussion(GD). We were given the choice of either English or Hindi. Everyone took up English.

GD topic : Is Indian Media Fair or Biased ?
There were 12 of us sitting in a boardroom with designated tables with our name Plate. Tables had in built speakers as well....
4 gentlemen , one a retired IAS officer , other three employed under SBI , were the jury.
5 mints to jot down the points. Then 2 mints each to speak on that matter.
Result : Everyone stumbled. Though everybody spoke well.
Then 5 mints was given for an open to all fish market where we had to counter each others points. This section really went off well for me...was the most active of the lot.

Then P.I. Time : 10-15 mints for each.
Mine focused on Bio-data , Family , Indian classical music , Urdu language , Some questions from graduation subject etc etc. Overall was good. Mood was positive.

They offered snacks and lunch , but as I was on a fast so declined politely.
In d end.... It was a satisfying experience... But not having too much expctations.
Thats all folks.

Some of Questions asked in SBI PO 2013 Interview

In interview , questions were like -
1. Being a student of physio, how you managed to clear sbi po in 1st attempt?
2. Who is there in your family?
3. Who established BHU?
4. Where did Urdu language first originate?
5. Who was Begum Akhtar Pia and Amir Khan?
6. Why people have different color , physical structure and physical characteristics?
